Job Description

Wirsol Solar China is seeking a driven and ambitious Director of Finance. As our Director of Finace, you will be responsible for all aspects from project finance to setting up a fund or preparing an IPO of our solar projects in China and Asia/Pacific. You will be based in Beijing, China and travel frequently in Asia.

You will contribute to our success by

• Structure renewable energy project of several hundred million USD in China
• Look for exit channel for renewable energy projects, e.g. a fund or IPO
/ I; P4 D2 y: t, a/ A' V• Setting up and presenting business models to financial institutions and investors
• Negotiate with partners, lawyers and tax advisors
• Growing and managing investor relationships' s
• Assessing the financial impact of project decisions
• Conducting all financial due diligence on projects and arranging project finance;
• Possessing and growing a strong understanding of strategy and business case development
• Performing any other duties, as assigned, related to project finance and business development:
 
Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong financial modeling skills, ability to structure renewable energy projects
• Experience in setting up funds, experience in IPO preparation
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• BS/BA Degree from a leading university, with a major in finance, accounting or a technical field
• 5-10 years of experience at a financial institution or consulting firm
• Experience in the field of renewable energy or project finance is preferred
• Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and to be resourceful in sourcing information
• Must convey maturity, experience, confidence and self-motivatio
• Work experience in China will be beneficial
• Fluency in English, fluent in Mandarin is a plus
